In practice, I become involved when one of three key questions arises:
- Do we have evidence that will withstand legal scrutiny?
- Can this IT incident translate into liability and financial exposure?
- Is the opposing party manipulating the narrative, the data, or an “expert opinion”?
In such situations, what matters is timing, evidentiary discipline, and a clear, defensible methodology.
